Green Agenda was called upon ahead of HRH the Prince of Wales' visit to Turangawaewae to help with the preparations. Stepping inside the ponga fence was both an honour and a privilege.
This picture is of Kimiora, the dining whare. We washed this building as well as Pare Waikato, the sleeping whare and Rourouiti, the administration centre. The principle honour though, was being called upon to wash the front face of Mahinarangi, the whare nui, along with all its magnificent carvings and Pikiao, the flag pole - the very spot where Prince Charles and the dignitaries would be seated.
Spending time on Turangawaewae ahead of such an important occasion is an unforgettable inclusion to Green Agenda's growing list of notable jobs. It's great we were able to treat a sacred place with the utmost respect and also ensure nothing vile spilled into the immediately adjacent Waikato River.
Green Agenda is the house washing and building washing service to call upon where care and respect are of the utmost importance. It's not just milestone jobs that matter to us though. As great an honour as working at Turangawaewae is, we treat every job - large and small - with the same level of care. We'll wash your house or wash your building to Royal standard every time!
Cheers, Craig
